toshiba 5000- 104

hey..trying to format my copmuter...problem is i cant get admin access in to my computer.....the cd drive doesnt work for some reason..have an external cd drive..got a windows xp cd..how do i boot from it?...cant get in to BIOS either

May be you need to get the internal CD drive working. Not all laptops support boot from external CD/DVD drives.

A good work around is to format your drive in another PC. If you want to install XP on the drive without CD/DVD drive, try the steps here:

how do i get in the bios of the laptop....i might have to change the boot sequence?...have tried f5....delete key..etc.
