SynTPEnh.exe
Hi there, I have a problem with Syntpenh.exe. It is using over half of my CPU and slowing down my computer drastically. I know it is to do with Synaptics touch pad. I also have lost the icon from the notification area of the task bar. can anyone help me to sort this problem. thanks from colinrh

Re: SynTPEnh.exe
Hi colinrh,
It could be a corrupted driver. Make sure this is not virus or malware related. Run some scans to be sure. Btw have you tried uninstalling the touchpad in Device manager. Also try uninstalling any Synaptic related programs in ADD/REMOVE. Reboot. Let Windows recognize the touchpad. If needed, download the touchpad driver again from your laptop maker's website (i.e. HP/Compaq, Toshiba, etc.). Observe if it behaves the same after that.
