[SOLVED] Windows 2000 will not load

My other laptop that i have windows 2000 operating system on it and as soon as i boot it up i recieve this error message:
***stop: 0x0000007B (0xF641F84C,oxC0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000) INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
My laptop is a pentium 2 (MMX) and i am not sure what to do. Can anyone help me. Thanks.

Try booting from CD drive using a bootable CD. If it can boot from the CD, then may be you need to test your hard drive for errors. Try reinstalling W2K too. Sometimes it helps.

i haven't got any CD for it, and it will not format the drive as i keep hearing some clicking noises likes its hitting its on case or soomething. and i haven't got the proper tools to get into it.

The only CD I have got is a Windows 98SE CD and that don't work for but it would format it until it gets to 25% because thats when the read/write head starts to hit the inside of the case. not sure if its caused by dents in the drive or its getting stuck somewhere. that could by why it will not load up windows or format it self.

Based on what's posted so far, I believe you have an HDD gone bad. Consider replacement. If you do not have the tools, I guess a repair shop could help.
