HP pavilion dv8000 no power at all.
hi
my father in law gave me his old dv8000 laptop today,he told me he had dropped it a few years ago but he has got it working after that.just recently it wont turn on at all, there is no power what so ever(no lights) and obviously will not boot up,im not sure if something has come loose or broke inside or i was hoping i might get some info here to fix it myself as cheap as possible.i took off the battery and used a/c power but no power at all still or lights,he seems to think the motherboard has gone out but you just cant be sure and i dont know how to check it.does anybody have any other suggestions or ideas what it might be and does anybody have a link or information/diagram to the insides of a dv8000 so i can take it apart and look?.
