vista keeps rebooting at login screen

hello I need help I have acer aspire 3680 and when I ran anti spyware it scanned and rebooted when the login screen came I typed my password and it was incorrect and the system reboots and does this none stop. The only way around this is when the acer logo appears I press f8 and select last known successful reboot. I did everything and nothing seems to work.
I removed the password and it keeps rebooting and after a few times it works that's without pressing f8. any advice what should I do to fix this problem
