Toshiba Satellite Pro 600 Power Issue?
Yeah I know this is a bit old but I got it for free from my boss. The problem is when I went to turn it on the first time and it worked great. Now when I go to turn it on with just AC it shows it plugged in and the power light comes on but I dont hear it come on (Hard Drive noise etc) no post nothing! I tried the FN plus power button and still the same thing. Even tried taking out the ram and reseating it and still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas on whats wrong or how to fix it? Any help would be greatly helpful. I am just stuck and I figure I have done everything but ya know the vast world of knowledge and all of you maybe you can help me solve this problem.

Try a reset. Remove battery and AC adapter then press power ON button for 30 secs. Attach battery and AC adapter then power ON as normal.

Re: Toshiba Satellite Pro 600 Power Issue?
It sure smells like a motherboard failure. Have you tried stripping it down to just RAM, LCD and keyboard? Remove all the other devices including WiFI and modem cards.

Re: Toshiba Satellite Pro 600 Power Issue?
No I have not, but it worked fine 2 days ago and I shut it down and then nothing when I went to turn it on again. This is weird! I think I will tear it down but I thought if the lights came on then the board was fine but then again I could be wrong.
