EEK! How do you enable Admin???

I don't use vista or own it but i had to fix a laptop not so long ago.

I was given the laptop and told that the person i was fixing it for was going on holiday for a week..

when i got round to looking at it i was stumped to find that i couldn't log in as they had passworded the account and not told me what it was...

the guest account was still active and i could access some features but rarely change settings...(I don't normally have a good word to say about vista except nice interface but i have to admit.. tight security)

i have managed to access the account after a lot of probing and fixed their laptop, ready for when they return..

but whats bugging me is how do you access admin...

i tried safemode and other options but couldn't find how to log in as admin...

where is the option for log on as admin?!?!?
