Help!!!!

My computer has started running insanely slow. Is there something that I can do to get it to run faster? I have 1GB of memory on my computer; I'm running the defragmenter and a virus scanner as I type. Is there a scan I can run that looks at all the processes on my computer and then someone tells me whats wrong with my computer?

Re: Help!!!!

They all are dma.
I looked in my BIOS and I can't find the cpu temp. Is there any special place I'm supposed to look in my BIOS?

Re: Help!!!!

I don't have a hardware monitor in my advanced tab in BIOS. Or, anywhere in BIOS that I can find.

Re: Help!!!!

Wow. That does help. Also, I think that the defrag helped a lot. I think I'm gonna go buy a cooling pad for it tomorrow and see if that will help. Thanks for your help and suggestions!!!!!!
