Parts

I've got a laptop.
It is an HP pavilion zv5014EA from zv5000 serie.
I'm looking to buy a port replicator compatible with it.
Do u know any type of model I can get?

Thanks.

Eric

Re: Parts

This is a general procedure for finding compatible parts for your HP (for future upgrades etc.):
Go to the HP site. Type your model number (in your case zv5014EA) in the search box. You'll get to the support page (good time to update drivers if you've got a spare minute). Then go to the manuals page. The manual you want to get is the Maintenance and Service Guide. It has all the parts and spare part numbers that are compatible with your system.
For your particular system, the compatible port replicators are listed as
Advanced Port Replicator part # 339096-001
Common Port Replicator part # 339097-001
If you go to the HP home page and type either in, it will let you search it from the HP spare parts store. (It's not a good idea though, as HP tends to charge really high prices - for the example the common port replicator is listed at $192.92 and the advanced one at $377.88).
However, now that you've got the part number, you can search for it on ebay or google, and often find more affordable prices.
