Laptop powers up, then dies.
I have a Presario v6000 laptop that I'm rebuilding for my niece. It shipped with Vista, but I'm throwing XP Pro on it instead. The first problem I ran into was that the wireless card would just disappear after reboots. I flashed the BIOS and then updated the chipset. Now, when I go to boot up, the lights come on for about a second and then it shuts down...?
I don't want to tell my niece I turned her laptop into a brick. |
