I need a mobo for an HP ZE2004US

I recently acquired an HP laptop with a fried mobo. I have tried a few places on the web to find a decent deal on one, and was shocked at the new prices for one.
It is a ZE2004US with an AMD processor. I tore it apart, and found burnt spots on the board. Not sure what caused that, but if I can find a decent price on a good used one I would rebuild it.
I will get he part numbers as soon as I get a chance.
So if anyone knows where to look, or find one other than HP themselves I would greatly appreciate it.
If anyone needs any more info, please let me know.
Thank you.

Hi,

Try eBay.

Re: I need a mobo for an HP ZE2004US

I have looked on E-Bay, and most of them are quite expensive. I haven't done a lot of work on laptops, so I'm unaware of the prices of the respective parts for them.
I'm not sure where to look for the mobo for it, but I will do some more research.
Thank you.

There are a lot of online stores that may have what you need. Try hammerheadtech.com for one. About the price, I expect it to be high as we are talking about mobo replacement.

Before you give up, try something like Newegg.com of Tigerdirect.com

I am not sure how is the fitting using aftermarket in a stock enclosure.

The laptop aftermarket stuff is not that popular.
