ram and video card uprgrade?

hi, i recently got a hp dv9000. i have cleaned up alot of disk space and ran cleanups, virus scans, deleted backround processes and i changed visual properties. i did all of this becuase i cannot play half life Team Fortress2 without annoying lagg and choppiness online with alot of players. my friend on the other hand has the same laptop but he has an intel centrino processor whereas i have amd turion64x2. and his computer runs crisp when he plays the game. even with a fair amount of backround processes going. ive been told intel is doing better with processor technology so is there a difference? can i switch out my amd processor along with the socket to put in a intel? or am i going the wrong path? can i also get a video card uprgrade and switch out my MCP67M please let me know what the best choice is i am very baffled. thanks. forgot to mention that my friend has windows xp, is this a variable in the defficentcy of my visual effects because of less memmory?

Re: ram and video card uprgrade?

Basically NO. Sell it an buy an Intel. Or buy more ram?
