[SOLVED] Toshiba Satellite A100 Keyboard Problem

My keyboard on my computer will only let my type a character once, if I want to type the same character more than once in a row (including backspace) I have to wait a few seconds. Why?

Check the keyboard control panel. Make sure the repeat delay is set to short. Try it again.

Does it behave the same if you are using an external keyboard?

I don't know, because I don't have an external keyboard.

Check the accessibility control panel keyboard tab and see if you see any checkmarks. If so, uncheck them.
