Install a new DVD-RW into a Sony Vaio VGN FS980
How is the laptop accessed to allow for removal & replacement of the the DVD Drive (DW-Q58A). I took all the screws out of the back but still could not get the bottom cover removed.

Hi Bill,
Get hold of the service manual to guide you on this. Usually you just need to remove the keyboard. Optical drive mounting screws can be accessed once the keyboard is out of the way.
