Dead gateway 450ROG -- need to save harddrive
I have important info stored on my gateway laptop, but its dead for the third time in 4 years. I am wondering if it is possible to swap the hard drive from this gateway to a Dell Latitude without harming either machines. Any advice? Thanks

I think it is possible if both are using 2.5" ATA/IDE drives. The only thing is you need to reformat and do a fresh install of Windows and drivers to make the hard drives work in a different laptop.
