Poor Web Graphics

Ive had my laptop for a while though never connected to web until now, ill found that graphics on the web are visually poor' almost of pixelated but not.... its v fustrating. 1GB ram, ATO Mob Radean 9600 Pro Turbo Graphics and 1920 x 1200 screen res... cud any of this b causing the prob... i aint got a clue.... pcs r not my area????

any advice wud b great!

First thing I would check out is the graphics card driver. Is it the most current driver installed? (ati.com)

In display properties on the settings tab what is the color quality set to? Should be highest 32 bit.

if you are using software to accelerate internet speeds, set the compression levels for the images lower.
