Re: TOSHIBA a100 PROBLEM !!!!!

Hi siamr,

Was this problem already existing or did it just start recently? Any recollection when and how it all started? Does this happen ONLY when playing music or video? Notice if the laptop is overheating?

By the way, we are TSF and NOT notebookforums.com

Re: TOSHIBA a100 PROBLEM !!!!!

I assume even if you adjust the volume to maximum, nothing changes on the speakers side.

If this is the case, I would definitely start with updating all the drivers from Toshiba website.

Re: TOSHIBA a100 PROBLEM !!!!!

Am I correct to assume that in Vista you do not have this problem? Sadly we do not have all the information on that subject (Vista to XP drivers). What we have however is a document of the steps on how to go about the shift from Vista to XP. The document also contains sites for drivers but of course they may not serve your needs.

Or you can try this first of three driver sets:

D/load link is located here: http://www.toshiba-asia.com/support/downloads/index.jsp
