Hi, I lost my dell power on button. Is there anyway for me to turn on my laptop. Thanks

The power button is just some sort of a cover (actually). It pushes another button or switch on the power board. It is not advisable to press this switch with out the button as you may damage the laptop (short some components) or hurt yourself (electric shock). Of course you can try a small plastic straw or a non-conductive material to use so you can push the switch ON.
Post the exact laptop inspiron model so we can help you identify the part that you may need.
