blue ray sony vaio question
Hello,
I just bought a blue ray enabled sony vaio laptop and tried to play a blue ray disc. It works fine on the laptop's monitor, but when I'm trying to connect it to my HDTV (Sony Bravia LCD), I am getting an error message - "Copywrited media cannot be played on this output". Can anybody help? Thanks. |

Re: blue ray sony vaio question
I have the VAIO VGN-AR61S. I take it that your TV has a HDMI input. Older TVs without a HDCP compliant HDMI or DVI input will not play copy protected media. I'm no 'tech head'. I just read that in Computer Shopper , in reference to the Humax Foxsat-HD Freesat receiver.
My problem is more serious....my machine crashes when I plug the HDMI cable in!!! If already in when I boot up, I get a hardware fail! Charlie |
