Question Creating Factory Discs for Acer Aspire 7520

Hi,

Just joined, and need some help.

I've been reading a couple of the threads on here regarding downgrading from Vista to XP for this laptop - and the first advise was to create the factory image discs.

I've just done that - and there was a button on there to verify the images.

Disc 1 burnt and verified fine
Disc 2 burnt, then failed the verify check - looked at the details, and it was a CRC check issue.
Repeated Disc 2 and had the same issue.

Checked the discs and there appears to be various data on both - so they've definietly burnt.

Does anyone know if they will work? Could it just be a mistake?

Many thanks in advance.

Re: Creating Factory Discs for Acer Aspire 7520

Not sure what fixed this:

But combination of reboot, various Windows updates and different media - and everything is ok.

Shame nobody had any help for me though :-(
