which ports are USB 2.0?
I updated my USB hub driver and now when I plug in an external hard drive I get a message that says something along the lines of: "your device would work faster if you plug into a USB 2.0 port. Click here to see which ports are USB 2.0"
But when I try to click where they tell me to, the button disappears. I thought that all my USB ports were 2.0. How can I can't figure out which ones are and which aren't? There are three places to plug in a USB device and I don't know which correspond with which port. I have an Averatec laptop about two years old but it works fine. -- Rocky |

Re: which ports are USB 2.0?
okay so the manual is a bit cryptic but i think it is telling me that all the USB ports are 2.0
the only USB related option on the bios is to "enable or disable legacy USB support" which is now set to enable. so ... is there any way to test a USB port to see if it is really operating at 2.0 speeds? |
