Silent Compaq M700
Hi
I have a Compaq Armada M700 notebook. It suddenly went very quiet, no sound at all. At that point I was using W2K and reinstalled drivers, no sound. Even tried Fedora op sys, no sound. Upgraded to XP, runs really well, but no sound. No error messages on device manager and it says that the device is working but it ain't. Any ideas, or has the sound part of the poor old mobo just died for ever?  Cheers |
