Asus Eee

I'm looking at getting an asus eee and was looking for people's opinions and experiences with them. I'm tempted towards the 900 but the 901 is quicker and has a better battery life, but for £300 am I better off getting a laptop?

im looking towards the asus 901...for portability i think it would be good. also pricewise it should be a lot cheaper towards christmas..
