Hiya,
I've just bought an Advent 5401 laptop yesterday. When I browse the web with either IE7 or Firefox, the graphic resolution is really poor. My computer resolution settings are set to 1280 x 800. The graphics card is a GeForce 8400m GS (256mb). Can you please advise on what I should do to make the graphics better. Many Thanks

Re: Poor graphics when web browsing.
Hi Steve,
IE resolution follows what is set for the Desktop. Try the following if it works for you:

Re: Poor graphics when web browsing.
Ok mate thanks, I'll give them a try.
I looked online for this problem and it seems quite common with laptops. Nobody seems to have a solution that works for me. Iv tried various methods ie- change browser to firefox, type something in the registry, reset ie settings but to no avail. I'll keep trying though as I can't keep looking at poor images whilst on the web. Cheers bud! |
