HELP with monitor setup
Not sure if this is the right forum but if anyone can help, much appreciated.
Upon plugging my Samsung SyncMaster 204B monitor into my HP laptop (with Vista) the power indicator light begins to flash as if it is on standby. Previous to plugging it into the laptop, the light is constant with a box floating around reading 'Check Signal Cable' with the appropriate 3 coloured boxes indicating the monitor is functioning properly. I have re-installed the necessary drivers and fiddled around in the Display setting for quite awhile. The computer recognizes the monitor but does not display the mirrorred or extended desktops. Can somebody PLEASE lend some helpful hints in order to fix this FRUSTRATING problem. |

do you have the gfx display set for the monitor's native resolution and refresh rates?
