upgrade Toshiba running original 95

I just inherited a Toshiba 220cs, running the original Windows 95. I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade it a little, so i can at least access the internet.

Specs
Pentium - 133 MHz
16 MB RAM
1.82 MB Hard Drive

Is this even possible?

You can access the internet with Windows 95. I am not familiar with your model but I am assuming this has an ethernet port that you can use to connect to a router or modem.

On laptops, you can only do so much in terms of upgrading. Looking at your specs, I am guessing that you can only upgrade your RAM and your hard drive. You see the older the laptop gets, the limited your upgrade options aside from the higher the price of each component.

You can try crucial.com and check how big a RAM can be supported on your model. May be you can start from there.

the max ram for your system is 144 megs. You may be able to upgrade to win98. As far as your drive you should be able to get a little bigger drive. The biggest problem is the video.

IMO, its not worth upgrading.
