CD Drive not working!
Hello,
I have an Acer Aspire 3002 laptop and the CD Drive as recently stopped working. I can open and close it as normal, but it does not load/recognise the contents of the CD. How can i fix this please? Thank you |

delete upper/lower filters (or use CDGone, just Google d/load site). also try booting from CD drive using a live CD (XP/BartPE or linux). you may need to change boot order in BIOS so you can boot from a CD drive. also check in BIOS settings if it recognizes the drive. if all of these fail to recognize the drive, then consider getting a new/replacement CD drive.
