How do i fix the speaker on my laptop?

My laptop is vaio brand ,just bought from best denki.
My brother realize that one of the speaker not working , and he disabled the sound system or whatever . And now totally no sound.

I have tried to increate the volume , but it stay at one bar.
And i can't play anysong.

Please add my msn p-rated@live.com.sg .
I really need help , cause i just got this laptop.

Is laptop under warranty (most likely because you just got it)? if so bring it back to Sony. They will fix it for you.

If you want to fix it, you may need to open up the laptop. Get hold of the service manual so you have a guide on how to open, locate, remove and replace the defective speaker. Although this is is not advisable if yours is still in warranty.

Best if you bring it back to the store or back to Sony.

They don't want to change one for us.

I don't want to have a laptop which need to repair after a few days after buying.
