Acer bios password problem
Hi I have an Acer 5420-5687 and there is no OS installed on the laptop. I tried to boot up my windows vista cd to install it but it wouldn't boot, i decided to go into my bios to see the boot order but it asked for a bios password, it has a PHOENIX bios so i tried all the default passwords for it but none worked. I also removed the motherboard battery for about 24 hrs but the bios still asks for a password. If anyone can tell me how i can boot something up that will remove the password or find something on my motherboard to clear it. Thanks
