Removing Ram Help

I have a hp Pavillion zd7000 notebook and its basiclly gone to hell now so i was wondering if i can remove the 2 512mb ram and add it to a sony vaio desktop?

No. Totally different dimensions, i.e. size, pin etc.

im looking at 2 links for the viao and the pavillion and the origanal oem memory upgrades specs are the exact same except the footprint which is ddr sodium and the pavillion is just sodium ( i have no idea what that means)
