Want to upgrade my LAPTOP with a DVD

But its and old one... well no so old, but they are not selling it anymore.

Its an FUJITSU SIEMENS AMILO-D P4. I want to upgrade the CD with a combo that can write CDs and read DVDs or even write CDs and DVDs.

The problem is that i dont know where to find this in europe, because i dont know the type of combo im searching for.

The model right now installed in my cvomputer is an SR-8176-C

Hope you can help me out. Thanks a lot !!!

I have also been meaning to have my desktop computer memory upgraded,if you get an answer how about you spread it my way.

Hi madelmoe,
well I could not help you in searching for combo, I tried but no luck...
You could try to take laptop to some Fujitsu Siemens store and to see if they can get you Combo for your laptop...
Or you can go on Fujitsu Siemens web site and find some phone number and call them to check if they have Combo for you...
Anyway, buying a new Combo for specific laptop could be very expensive, especially for older laptops...
So I could suggest you to buy an external DVD-RW and with this you will make your problems to go away...

That was my first idea, but i just wondered if ther was a universal combo very cheap :D :D :D
