fd drive
my laptop shuts down intermittenly. it also over heat sometimes. I now get a message saying "safely remove Hardware" what does all this mean?
I have a toshiba laptop |

as for the overheating, try cleaning it up. shoot some compressed air thru the vents to get the dust out (well, at least some of it). also make sure the vents/heatsink are free from any obstruction.
as for the 'Safely remove this device...' where do you see this message?
