log in app error userinit.exe ?? help! =[

Ok, so i dont know if i have deleted anything wrong or whatever, but.

I start up the laptop (3rd hand ACER Aspire 3000) and the log in page come up as normal, i put in my password, and a couple of seconds after i hit enter, a pop up message in a grey box comes up that says;

"userinit.exe Application Error"
Failed to initialize properly hit ok to terminate.

so i hit ok, the pop up comes up again and i hit ok and it just loads up my desktop background.

very frustrating.

i have rebooted, reset, logged off logged back in, my dad tried to reboot the system and all that and it still isnt working.
Help would be muchly appreciated, its frustrating me heaps!! lol.
