toshiba laptop cant have external monitor as default?
ok recently my laptops lcd screen cracked and is progressively getting worse. so i purchased a external monitor.
  -did the display settings added a second monitor to be used on my desktop great now i see picture-yeay! -use this device as default-greyed out! -checked the nividia card-works able to change options-still nothing -restarted computer still same thing-secondary -rebooted in safe mode-oh yeay it works! checked the display settings>says its the only monitor -reboot again>doh! secondary monitor -restart>f12>bios>display settings greyed out -so last but not least msconfig-make sure put back at normal start-up/make sure all drivers are loading correctly -rebooted once more...sigh....  still sitting at #2  Does this mean that i cant fix it at all??? i have to buy another one...i dont wanna. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can someone help |
