Increasing IBM X31 RAM
Hello-
My IBM X31 is running a 1.4GHz processor with 512MB of RAM. Is it possible to get up to 1GB of RAM or higher and if so how? I need the added RAM for running specific software. If it is possible to increase the RAM, would it be something I could purchase at like a Best Buy etc? thanks for the help. |

here's the overview of the X31 in general: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/si...cid=MIGR-46475 here's the maintenance manual for references in removal and location of RAM. http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/si...cid=MIGR-44018 from the links above you will need a PC2700 laptop RAM (2GB Maximum for X31). i believe BestBuy sells this type. Try also Kingston website
