Please help with Toshiba Tecra A3- S611

I am currently trying to finish a XP pro re-install but i am a bit unfamiliar with Toshiba's products and website, the remaining items i am in need of are the proper drivers for the; chipset, nic, and video. i found one for the video on toshibas site for the A3-S611. any help would be greatly appreciated

If you know the manufacturer of each componet that you need the driver for then you could try their web sites.

thats another problem i jumped right into the re-install, because the co-worker that handed me the laptop said they had all the correct start-up cds and with out double checking i went right to work

I found this free ware program called Unknown Device Identifier, but I dont know how to search for the results it gave me I am now looking at items like; 82915 PM/GM/GMS, 82910 GML Host Bridge and 82801 FB (ICH6) PC le Root Port 1 my new problem is I dont knhow how to convert these into items that i could even google anybody with a bit more expierence please help

Using unknow device identifiers can be a bit tricky. Usually they have a device ID that you can use to find out what kind of device it is, sometimes it even tells you the manufacturers name.

But to offer another very easy solution for you, call toshiba and order system recovery discs for that. Will probably have to pay shipping charges but would be alot less hassle, especially if at some point down the road you need to reinstall XP again.
