WD Sata 250gb [moved from HD support]

A few weeks ago my hard drive failed. I went ahead and ordered a WD Sata 250gb. I put the drive in the available 2.5 in space, but my computer won't recognize the hard drive.

Where do I go from here? Please help..

Sounds more like a motherboard issue or a faulty cable.

Replace the cable.
Post back with the system specifications.

* Motherboard – Unknown. I suppose I should open it up.

* CPU – Intel Core2 T5500 @ 1.66GHz

* RAM – 2GB RAM

* Hard Drive(s) – Factory Drive: Fujitsu SATA 160gb
Replacement drive: WD Scorpio 250gb SATA
