How do I replace my presario 1200us dvd?
Hi! I need to repace my 1200us presario dvd player. I have already replaced the hard drive, but I need to change out the dvd as well. I would be grateful for any help, and if possible links to step by step would be great too!

Get hold of a service manual for your model. I did a quick search but I cannot find one in HP/Compaq website.

Hi. you are right; they don't have a service guide on the web site. I had to go to ebay and buy a cd with a lot of makes and models on it... And let me tell you what trouble it was to swap it out! I had to break it down to almost the motherboard! But, it's done and thanks for the help!
