HP Laptop won't turn on
Hello,
My friend has a HP dv9207us laptop. She stepped away from the computer for a few minutes and when she came back, it was turned off and wouldn't turn back on. It will not turn on even though the battery is charged. There is no startup or noise of the laptop powering up. She tried taking out the battery, charging it, and putting it back in, but it is the same result. She was running XP on a 2.0 gh machine. She heard a suggestion that maybe it is a motherboard problem. Any help or speculation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Re: HP Laptop won't turn on
Hi,
Can she recall if she has set her laptop to go to sleep or hibernate? Also please read this HP document (your model is included): http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...77&lc=en&cc=us
