USB Tv Tuner

Does anyone have any recommendations for a USB Tv Tuner? I would like to watch HDTV content on my laptop. There are quite a few outthere to choose from but not sure which one to go with. Any advice or experience with any??

Re: USB Tv Tuner

look for a QAC/ATSC/NTSC combination tuner for HDTV and digital broadcast support. Also, you might consider Expresscard tuners.

PCI-E requires 26 amps at 12 volts. That's a 650W PSU.

Re: USB Tv Tuner

Is there an advantage to an expresscard vs USB??? I'm concerned about the devices running hot and maybe melting something in my laptop.

express cards tend to run warm, but so can USB. I've had a friend's jump drive get almost too hot to touch for more than 3 or 4 seconds after a long transfer.
