I have had my laptop since 2005 and it's never let me down before but recently it's started to play up.
I switch on the power and it brings up the "HP Invent" screen but it's very faint (really hard to see but it is there) and just sits there and does nothing. The HDD is flashing for a minute and then stops. In the past it's been a case of removing the battery for a couple of minutes, putting it back in and then starting it up again and it will work, but this morning nothing that I do will make the thing start up. Anyone got any ideas as to things I can try next? |

Re: NX6110 Stuck At Boot
dim screen? could be backlight of LCD or inverter. test with external monitor. HDD LED stops flashing and laptop does nothing? try to boot using any live CD (try linux live CD like knoppix or PCLinuxOS).
