Laptop Harddrive Upgrade!

Hi, I have an Alienware M5500 laptop. (Uniwill 259)

I currently have a 100gb harddrive, I want to upgrade it to 250gb or 320gb but I don't know which hard drive to get. I'm not familiar with laptop harddrives so I don't know which one will be compatible with my laptop.

Does anyone know? I will most likely be buying it off of newegg.com

check your harddrive if you have PATA or SATA. easier if you buy the same brand and type but of higher capacity (ex. Hitachi ATA-6 60GB to Hitachi ATA-6 80GB). if you want a different brand, go always with the same type (ex. Seagate SATA 80GB to Fujitsu SATA 120GB). Specify that you need a laptop hard drive.
