Laptop Harddrive Upgrade!
Hi, I have an Alienware M5500 laptop. (Uniwill 259)
I currently have a 100gb harddrive, I want to upgrade it to 250gb or 320gb but I don't know which hard drive to get. I'm not familiar with laptop harddrives so I don't know which one will be compatible with my laptop. Does anyone know? I will most likely be buying it off of newegg.com Thanks! |

check your harddrive if you have PATA or SATA. easier if you buy the same brand and type but of higher capacity (ex. Hitachi ATA-6 60GB to Hitachi ATA-6 80GB). if you want a different brand, go always with the same type (ex. Seagate SATA 80GB to Fujitsu SATA 120GB). Specify that you need a laptop hard drive.
