Help
I am tring to replace the keyboard in my 2005 HP Compaq Presario R4000. There is a spot in the upper left side that has a K inside a lock icon. Can anyone help. I know I have to release the upper cover above the keyboard or (bezel) to access the screws to take out the old keyboard. Thx.

Re: Help
What you need is the service manual for your laptop, it details exactly how to remove components and in what order to do so. The pdf file for yours is at the following link, save a copy, they always come in handy.
