Acer Restore failed half way Computer seems dead
Can someone please Help me!! We have an ACER aspire laptop which my teenage boy was using and got a virus! Virus cleaner didnt work, system restore failed so we used the RESTORE disks to wipe hard drive. Restore failed half way! Now we have a blank screen that reads "NTLDR is missing Press any key to restart". This message keeps reappearing and we cant do anything to fix it. We've created a boot disk but cant get it to run even though the CDROM drive is working, but we cant get past this black screen with "NTLDR is missing Press any key to restart". We can use ctrl alt del to restart the computer, and thats it. Cant even get into the bios. Have we killed our hard drive?
