Starting a few weeks ago, every time I typed an "m", it would add an apostrophe and show up as " m' ", and every time I typed a "j" it would add a bracket... like this: " j] "
I cleaned under the keys and it kept doing it, and then suddenly everything went crazy. About half the keys add an additional character, and it's usually not an adjacent key. I just cleaned up this entire post but I'll copy the original underneath it so you can have an idea of what I'm dealing with. __________________________________________________________ Sitaritn,g a few weeks a,go,g every itm'e IT tiyped an "m", it would add an apositrophe and show up as " m' ", and every itm'e IT ityped a j it would add a brackeit... litke iths: " j] " I cleaned under ithe keys and itti kepit doitn,g it,g and ithen suddenly everyithn,g wenit crazy. Re: Toshiba laptop keyboard has gone haywire!
I have a related problem with a Toshiba A10 laptop. I replaced the motherboard, and now the keyboard has several keys that act as shortcuts to various windows.
Any ideas on what settings in Windows XP or other problem which might solve this? |
