[moved from xp]Screen stays black and beeps for few seconds.. Help!!!
I have an IBM Thinkpad and when i went to turn it on, the screen stays black and its beeps like six times at me and then does nothing..
 I have tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, kept it on the charger all night, and even tried taking it apart.. I cant figure out what went wrong. Can someone help me out?? Much appreciated...  -Alicia |

I would take the RAM out and reseat it of course with the laptop turned-off and then try rebooting....
