Problems with notebook HDD

So today I incidentally crashed my Sony Vaio notebook on the floor, and now it does not work. At first when I turned it on this message appeared:
Invalid boot.ini file, I restarted it several times and now it does not show that message anymore, but shows a different one that says "operating system not found". I entered to the notebook BIOS (i guess this is how you say it) and when i checked it said there is no hard drive in the computer.

Now I do not know what to, from what i have read it seems like the hard drive was disconected with the crash or it may be broken, but i do not know what to do.

pull the hard drive out and put it back in again and see if it detects it

I dont have the slightest idea of where is it located.
my notebook is a sony vaio VGN-FE660G, maybe that can help you help me
