Laptop turns off when loading game [Moved from XP]
Hey!
I just bought a new hard drive for my laptop, installed it, same model etc. Other one was damaged, but anyway. I installed a game (Rose Online) My laptop is dual core 2.0 T7200 2gb ram 120hdd ati mobility radeon x1400 @ 512mb (its slightly broken i think..only on fullscreen 32bit 60hz does it start pissing up) wireless intel pro 3945abg xp pro sp2. the thing is ive now taken out a gig stick, and it loaded fine ![]() making me think *** a stick of ram has gone. but its FINE im happy with 1gb as long as the game runs. Prior to this, my laptop just turned off at the *Agree* page. Checked event viewer..last thing to load was apparentl NPPTNT2 service. It started OK but 1 second after..booom But as i said its running now minus 1 stick of ram, anyone got any ideas? |

Re: Laptop turns off when loading game
Hi PaddyN !
What's the brand and model of the laptop ? How did the old hard drive get damaged ? If you have problems with the video card then I'd look there first, you may have other hardware problems. I'll move you to the laptop support section where you'll have better help. |
