laptop screen prob

i bought ma acer laptop aprox 2 and a half year ago .. now am havin screen prob in it... when ever i try to play game or do sumthing which put load on procesor, screen starts flipin and den goes blank with different colors, sumtimes it goes black or yellow or orange or blue. i need to restart my laptop den... i hav five years insurance as well... the question is if i clame insurance den what will they do.. they gonna repair it or give me new laptop ?

Most probably repair it. Highly unlikely they will give you a new laptop...

Btw... five year insurance is for what. Never encountered insurance for laptop to cover damaged parts. I know it is to cover incase it gets stolen.

is the insurance a warranty?

Maybe try an external monitor to see if its a screen problem or graphic adaptor problem.

i hav five years insurance for accidently breakdown or just breakdown... wat do u fink wat prob is dis ? is dat graphic card prob or wat... one more fing,,, it normally happens ven laptop heat up.. and sumtimes procesor stop working as well ... its confusing .. :S

well i dun hav any extenal monitor here.. am student and none of my friend has desktop pc.. :s wat prob it seemz ?

Wow, you've got to be kidding me. My GM has encountered this problem twice in the last 3 weeks. The only course of action is to turn it off withe the power button. Any assistance on this would be great.
