Laptop Screen Bug Out
My Dell Vostro 1000 laptop screen is fine when i first turn it on...when i close the laptop or put it on hibernate then turn it back on...the screen starts bugging out...ive already checked the connections and they seem to be fine...what can i do?

hi,
check your RAM and your hard drive. run CHKDSK /R on your hard drive. use XP install CD and boot into Recovery Console. after running CHKDSK, try running hard drive diagnostics. if you know the brand of your HDD, d/load the hard drive diagnostic utility from the link on my sig.
